Air Guard Konk Dispenser is a patented automated timed release dispenser which can be used in areas where flies and other flying insects are a problem.

The battery operated Air Guard Konk Dispenser is designed for years of quiet, continuous use. The Konk Dispenser discharges a time-release metered dose of chlorofluorocarbon-free (CFC-free) insecticide every 7½ minutes, 24 hours a day, using replaceable pressurised cans.

One Konk aerosol can protects a room up to 170 cubic meters (6,000 cubic feet) from flying insects for up to 30 days. It's a deterrent as well as a killer. Ideal for homes, restaurants, offices, poultry sheds, piggeries, stables, kennels, green houses and other areas where flies and other flying insects are an annoyance.

Each Kit contains:

  • 1 x Air Guard Konk Dispenser
  • 1 x Konk Natural Insect Killer Aerosol
  • 1 x 9V battery
  • Instructions
  • Mounting kit

Directions

Install the Konk Dispenser at 2 to 3 meters (6 to 10 feet) above the floor and 15cm (6 in) below the ceiling, where the air circulation will carry the insecticide or air deodoriser throughout the area.

Konk...my revenge on insects

So pleased I was able to purchase this still. I have used konk for years and been happy with it but my last dispenser gave up the ghost. I was worried that it may have gone off the market. Thankfully, there was nothing to worry about.

Konk Dispenser

I was disappointed with my Konk Dispenser. On receipt I read all the instructions and installed it where the previous Konk had been mounted.

The Dispenser will not spray when turned to auto. I experimented by setting at the 3 settings, tried alternative konk cartridges but it would not work. However when the test button is pressed it operates. On the down side I was asked to send it back and this cost another $14. When added to the purchase price it is uneconomic to purchase a konk dispenser. I have yet to receive my repaired Dispenser so I have not yet seen it operating.
