ThymeMed™ (Thymus vulgaris) is Artemis' exclusive fresh plant extract made from Central Otago Thyme. Thyme provides powerful natural support for the body's immune defences and respiratory system, which includes helping to clear mucus from lungs and airways.
Aniseed oil (Pimpinella anisum oleum) is an effective expectorant, which means it thins mucus so it can be expelled more easily.
Grindelia (Grindelia robusta) has an expectorant action that reduces excess mucus in the upper respiratory tract.
Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) helps manage respiratory health. It helps to loosen mucus in airways and also helps relax the bronchial muscles.
Calming and relaxing, Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) protects the mucous membrane tissue from further damage and soothes the nose, throat and mouth.
Mullein (Verbascum densiflorum) soothes mucous membranes in the throat by forming a protective layer.
Plantain (Plantago lanceolata) helps to expel phlegm and soothe mucous membranes in the nose, throat and lungs. It is especially useful for respiratory tract health.
