Blackmores Joint Formula helps to relieve the symptoms of osteoarthritis by providing the 2 major ingredients in our joint cartilage - glucosamine and chondroitin.
Glucosamine is a natural compound in our body that helps to make our cartilage strong and rigid. It is a component of the cartilage matrix and synovial fluid, the lubricating fluid in our joints.
Like glucosamine, Chondroitin is a major ingredient for the body to produce new cartilage. Chondroitin also helps to keep cartilage healthy by absorbing fluid into it.
Some research have shown that glucosamine and chondroitin supplementation may slow the progression of osteoarthritis, particularly osteoarthritis of the knee or hip.
Manganese and boron are minerals which appear to play roles in joint health. Manganese is essential for the production of cartilage and bone. Boron plays a role in the chemical make-up of bones and joints.
For optimal result, combine Blackmore Joint Formula capsules with the anti-inflammatory action of Blackmores Fish Oil capsules.
