Claratyne for Children provides rapid 24 hour relief from the symptoms of hayfever, year round allergies and chronic urticaria (hives). Once daily dose provides relief from sneezing, runny nose, itchy rash (hives) and watery, itchy eyes.

Claratyne for Children contains an antihistamine called loratadine, a type of medicine that blocks histamine (The natural substance released by your child’s immune system during an allergic reaction). It can be taken by children aged 24 months and above.

Ingredients

Active ingredient per tablet:
Loratadine 5mg

Contains aspartame as a sweetener.

Phenylketonurics: Contains Phenylalanine.

Directions

Children 2-12 years:
Up to 30 kg - Take 1 tablet once daily.
Over 30kg - Take 2 tablets once daily.

Adults and children over 12 years - Take 2 tablets once daily.

Chew the tablet then swallow. Do not give the tablet to a child unless you are sure the child can chew the tablet.

Warnings

Although this medicine is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery, a few people may be impaired and care should be taken.
