a-Drenal is a comprehensive formulation of organic adrenal tissue and adaptogenic herbs designed to combat the side effects of adrenal fatigue, while promoting the healthy function of the adrenal glands. 

Pantothenic Acid: Pantothenic Acid or vitamin B5, is important for optimum adrenal function and hormone synthesis. It is considered the “anti-stress” vitamin. It is also the precursor to coenzyme A (CoA) a co-factor for many bodily processes including cellular respiration.

Cordyceps: Cordyceps is believed to be a remedy for weakness and fatigue, and it is often used as an overall rejuvenator for increased energy. It contains a broad range of compounds such as essential amino acids, vitamins E, K, B1, B2, and B12 and trace minerals.

Adrenal tissue: The adrenal cortex is responsible for synthesis of corticosteroids therefore adrenal extracts play a role in supporting normal adrenal function and healthy cortisol levels. This helps maintain normal immune and stress responses and many other vital processes in the body.

Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha is one of the most highly regarded and widely used Ayurvedic herbs and is believed to increase energy and overall health and longevity. It acts as an adaptogen and immune modulator, has shown a definite anti-stress effect and is supportive to the adrenal glands and also the thyroid gland.

Rhodiola: An adaptogenic herb that supports the functioning of the adrenal glands and encourages a healthy response to physical, emotional and mental stress by normalizing cortisol levels and other stress-related hormones without causing drowsiness or fatigue.

Siberian Ginseng and Korean Ginseng: Both ginsengs have adaptogenic effects therefore enhancing homeostasis and counteracting negative effects brought about by stressors. They support normal immune function, revitalize energy levels and improve physical and mental performance and concentration.

Astragalus: Astragalus has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years and was often combined with other herbs to strengthen the body against disease. Astragalus is an adaptogen and also promotes normal levels of specific immune cells and aids their function. It also has antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Epimedium grandiflorum: Epimedium extracts have been shown to stimulate the immune system. It also has the ability to increase nitric oxide levels therefore improving blood circulation. L-Theanine: A unique amino acid that aids balance in the neurotransmitter system with its ability to enhance the production of dopamine, serotonin and in the formation of GABA, resulting in improvements in mental, emotional and physical function.

Ginger: Ginger promotes normal production of inflammatory markers which aids immune system function and promotes healthy circulation and inflammatory responses. Ginger has proven anti-emetic and antioxidant properties.

Beta-Sitosterol: As a plant sterol, it has been known to aid the immune system by maintaining a healthy balance between Th-1 and Th-2 white blood cells. It also helps to modulate the stress response by supporting normal cortisol and DHEA levels.
